Terms of Service

1. Marketplace Scope & Platform Role
Agora operates an online technology platform connecting customers with vetted independent cleaning professionals ("Service Providers"). Agora acts as a marketplace facilitator for scheduling, pricing transparency, and escrow payments.
2. Booking & Escrow Payments
All bookings placed through Agora are protected by secure payment pre-authorization. Service fees are held in escrow via Stripe Connect and only released to independent cleaners upon verified job completion or expiration of the 24-hour review window.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Customers may cancel or reschedule a scheduled booking free of charge up to 20 hours before the scheduled appointment start time. Cancellations requested under 20 hours may incur a partial fee to protect the cleaner's reserved schedule.
4. Standards of Conduct & Safety
Both customers and service providers agree to maintain high standards of professionalism, respect, and property care. Any harassment, discriminatory conduct, or property endangerment will result in immediate platform suspension.
5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
